Instant

Our consciousness perceives ‘things’ (which ultimately consist of all the possible experiences we may have) as groups, collections, patterns, and periods. Instant depicts those periods of time where incomprehensibly numerous factors come together and generate those collections, patterns, events, and ultimately the reality we interact and experience.

These patterns, self-organizations, loops, and events emerge temporarily from chaotic, complex systems and create those ‘instants’ which can take place in various time periods, as short as plank seconds to eons that encapsulate all possible ways of being. From a cellular division to a turtle’s lifetime, the birth of a solar system to black hole evaporation, all dissolve in the flow of time until there is nothing left to define ‘time’.

In a partial sense, things we experience, (and as a mirror of that, our own being as a temporary collection of particles that compose a living creature that can be experienced by other beings), are all temporary states of things that constantly evolve other things in time. And as conscious beings, witness those instants where ‘things’ appear to happen, and dissolve in the flow of time.
